So, what is so special in Advaita for you? Why did you name this philosophical stream as your favourite?

ok. As i'm a disciple of Shri Adi Shankaracharya's line of continuity i have to answer such questions.
So, Advaita means Non Duality, but what does Non Duality mean?
Realizing the Self is Atman(BrahM) one can find out one's true nature and the nature of whole. The only one is reality one - BrahM is Reality (the whole), one without second.
In short, indeed.
One's spiritual quest set off asking "who am I?"

In "Vivek Chudamani" Shri Shankaracharya said:
'Neither by Yoga Nor by Sankhya, Neither by Karma Nor by Vidya
only by the realization of oneness of BrahM and Atma Moksh can be obtained.
...
If you have not realized the Supreme, All knowledge of Shaastras is useless,
If you have realized the Supreme, then also All knowledge of Shaastras is useless.

The Web of Words is a complex forest where a mind gets lost
That's why one should learn about Atma Tattva from some realized master (Guru)

Actually, God is whole, everywhere and always.
A very interesting fact is that Atman is described as a dove.
The Spirit of God descending as a dove in Christian texts.

P.S. Our and Hindu's culture have much in common. Many years ago I wrote an essay about this influence. Buddhism/Krishnaism and Chistianity use the same symbols to discribe the creation of the world, the Divine Spirit, our souls, the birth of Messiah. All main religions retell eachother. Because they are branches of a very old tree))) And they tell the Tree's story)

Once I've decided to find the beginging. I was an exciting journey) I wish to return to this exploration path one day)

You see - I'll be honest with you. You are the only person now who write in English here. And I'd like to keep up my language. So the only way to make it work here - to talk with you. But I can't talk about nothing. It's getting boring for me and I give up. That's why I'm despertely trying to find what we have in common to discuss these topics. To dig up knowledge with improving skills as a bonus.

hi, I see that you both try to make up some discussion)))I feel like speaking about psycology and esoterism)))) Now I am absolutely keen on ideas of transerfing that postulates that a person may achieve the things he\she has been up to or has kept in his mind for some time. In short if you think about smth or have a target and you believe in youself and so on))) this target wil surely come true in some (sometimes very akward and odd way) way unless you formulated it properly))) Now in RUssia the book by Vadim Zeland enjoys great popularity and draws everybody's attention. I want to achieve my goals and expectations with relatioj to career, relationships. Have any of you real experience of using this technique?)))))

of course I am ready to talk about kids' upbringing - like punishments, treatment, and so on - need to keep my advanced English. though it seemed to have fallen to intermediate after 3 years of my maternity leave))) Besides I am teaching my 3-year old English and my daughtie is making profound progress in it - watching cartoons. listening to English fairy-tales and etc

Anything depends on one's character traits.
Traits influence while one's making decision.
What traits can help me, which ones can hurt me and the others?

But i'm sure, the language skills could be obtained while people are speaking aren't the main value of any conversation.

There's something much more precious than them.

That's true, sure. In addition i'd like to remind one thing was said far long ago.: be afraid of your desire it can come true.

yeap. And the price i paid was much more expensive than result i got.
Time passed, something changed inside of me an' i'd never use such a method any more.
Anyway, one need have one's own experience.
The best way to make conclusion is to make sure the method works.
